On a glorious June day, Cindy and Yuan said their vows at the Portico on the University of Guelph grounds. Providing full wedding planning services, we were thrilled with how everything came together just perfectly!
This couple have been devoted to each other for many years, meeting as teenagers and remaining steadfast in their love, even throughout a multi-year long distance separation while Cindy attended school hundreds of kms away.
The day began with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony with family. Then it was off to the University’s green space out in front of the Portico for the wedding ceremony. The reception was held at Creelman Hall which was utterly transformed into an elegant dining room.
Blue and white was the theme, with Chinese design elements such as the Chinoise vases that made up the centerpieces. Later in the night, the bride changed from her glorious princess ballgown into a blue and white form-fitting cheongsam.
