Jessica & Spence: A Romantic Wedding at Ancaster Mill

Living in the States and trying to plan a wedding in Toronto is no easy feat.  So Jessica and Spence fortunately decided to hire us for wedding planning services – we’re so glad they did!

They met many years ago in school and their love endured physical/geographical separation and Spence’s military training in the US Army.

The wedding ceremony and reception were held at the Ancaster Mill on a gorgeous September day in the  airy & bright Miller’s Chapel.

To honour the bride’s Chinese heritage, a traditional tea ceremony was performed in the morning with both families.   Then off to the Mill with a quick change by the bride into her beautiful white gown.   Spence was very dapper in his traditional military blues.  Vows were exchanged and they became husband and wife!

The reception took place in the Millview Room.   The florals and decor were in classic neutrals of blush pinks, champagnes and ivory tones.   Lanterns helped accent the tables, and greenery was highlighted throughout.

Congrats to you both!

Thanks to Silverlight Photography for the gorgeous photos that captured the day!
