Stephanie and Gareth were in search of the perfect downtown Toronto venue for their wedding and they found it in the Albany Club on King.
While Stephanie had visions of an outdoor garden wedding, anyone who remembers June 2019 knows that summer really didn’t want to arrive until very late in the month. So their wedding day was a chilly and nearly rainy Saturday in mid-June. Who would have thought? The ceremony had originally been planned to take place at the Spadina Museum, a historic property adjacent to Casa Loma. But on account of the weather, the decision was made for the comfort of the guests to move the ceremony to the Albany Club as well, which is where the cocktails and reception were to take place.
But not to lose out on the beauty of the Spadina Museum, the couple did their First Look there and the gorgeous photos speak for themselves.
The ceremony took place in front of a beautiful flower-laden arch, bringing some of the outdoors inside. Once married, a quick “room flip” was done while guests enjoyed cocktails upstairs, transforming the dining hall of the Albany Club into a perfect dinner space.
Dancing and merriment continued to the wee hours ….. congrats you two! It was a joy to have worked with you!
