Sooyeon & Francisco were an absolute pleasure to work with. From our first meeting, it was evident how important family and tradition were to both of them and how fun that was going to be “marrying” Korean with Mexican culture!
All taking place at the beautiful Royal Ambassador Event Centre in Caledon, the traditional ceremony took place at the Lakeside Gazebo. While the groom is Mexican, he hails from a Jewish background, so there was strong representation of the Jewish faith throughout the nuptials.
Following that, the couple changed into traditional Korean attire and guests were invited inside the reception hall to witness the Paebeck ceremony (traditional Korean ceremony). That was a first for us!
Another quick change and it was back to the Western wedding wear for the reception. A mariachi band sereneded the guests through dinner and the groom and his family showed off their moves with some Mexican hot stepping! Capping things off was a romantic First Dance and our bride surprising the groom with a solo singing performance.
One truly memorable day! Congratulations Sooyeon & Francisco!
Thank you to Astin Hwang from One & Only Studio for the gorgeous pics!
Sooyeon & Francisco’s Review from Weddingwire:
“My husband and I got the full wedding planning service with Zerlene for our Mexican-Korean Wedding. She was very clear with information from the beginning, knows what she is doing, is realistic, friendly, easy-to-talk-to-kind-of-person, and her prices are very reasonable. She can stick to any budget you want and make the best out of it. We didn’t go through any stress during the process or day of the wedding. We are very satisfied with the service she provided and with the end result, and would recommend her without a doubt. Totally worth the money.”
