Dorothy and Stephen contacted us from sunny (and dry) California. Living so far away, but wanting to do their wedding in Toronto as this is home and where their families are, was proving to be very difficult and stressful for them. So they called us and we clicked immediately!
Job one was finding the right venue. Dorothy and Stephen made it very clear that they wanted to be surrounded by greenery – trees, grass, leaves! Living in an urban jungle like they do, they really longed to be around nature and wanted their wedding to feel very organic while still being elegant and something that they and their families would all be proud of. It soon became apparent that Miller Lash House was the perfect location!
With their wedding ceremony surrounded by tall evergreens, on the lush and peaceful grounds of the University of Toronto Scarborough campus, they got everything they wanted. The wedding reception was held under a marquee tent, with the sun streaming in and forest all around. Truly perfect.
