Shirine & Ryan: Pure Elegance at One King West

Shirine and Ryan are two very busy doctors who we met almost  a year before their wedding.   They decided to have their wedding ceremony and reception at one of our favourite venues, One King West Hotel in downtown Toronto and needed a wedding coordinator to lend a helping hand.

One King West has an illustrious history in Toronto.  It was the Dominion Bank in the late 1800’s and there is still evidence of that past (the receiving tables are actually the tables that were used to hold deposit slips…. anyone remember those days when you had to fill out a paper slip to make a deposit or withdrawl?)

As we know, TD Bank has moved to its permanent skyscraper home further south in the Toronto Financial District, and One King West has become a luxury hotel and residence with 500 suites and a two storey penthouse.

The couple had their ceremony in the Austin Gallery upstairs on the 12th floor and their reception in the Grand Banking Hall with its elegant Corinthian columns and amazing turn-of-the-century architecture.

Here are some of the photos from this stunning wedding.   The stunning photos below are provided courtesy of Ikonica.    Impresario Events of course did all the wedding coordination.
