We met Sam and Julia on a cold and wet February night. We discussed their upcoming June wedding at Holcim Estate in Mississsauga. A fairly new venue, this estate has just been opened up by the City of Mississauga for weddings and events. It is right on the waterfront and the couple was super excited about having their lakeside ceremony and tented wedding on the well manicured grounds.
The Big Day arrived and Mother Nature had other plans. Sadly, the skies were grey all day and it rained non-stop until the early evening.
The ceremony was moved to under the tent, and took place right on the dance floor. When life hands you lemons, make lemonade, right?
This couple were so gracious and took everything in stride. Thankfully the rain stopped after the ceremony and they were able to get some nice photos on the grounds.
And the party was on!
