Melissa and Dave contacted us late last year as they were looking for a Toronto wedding planner to help them find the right venue and help with the rest of the planning for their June 2014 wedding.
Dave jokes that he wasn’t too convinced he needed a wedding planner at all but fortunately we really hit it off and they decided on the spot it was going to be a worthwhile investment.
The search for the venue was a bit challenging but when they saw Columbus Centre they fell in love with it. And it was the perfect choice for them.
The rest of the planning was easy and it all came into place perfectly.
Here are some shots from their wedding.
The ceremony room, with complete back wall draping, ivory rose pew bows and four large flower arrangements.
And a shot from the ceremony iteself:
One of our favourite rooms is the Art Gallery at Columbus Centre with its rounded walls, the ever-changing artwork on display, and the soaring 4 story ceilings above. Did we mention that the food and service is incredible?
The colours were blush pink and ivory offset with pewter tablecloths on the guest and receiving tables.
The overall room, just getting set up for the antia:
At each place setting was a personalized set of coasters:
And the glorious cake!
And what would a wedding blog posting be without a shot of the first dance? Melissa changed from her gorgeous form fitting lace wedding (ceremony) gown to a dreamy blush-coloured gown for the reception (in case you were paying attention to the photos!)
It was a perfect day, and this super-wonderful couple are absolutely perfect for each other. We are so happy for you both and really look forward to keeping in touch! We started out as your wedding planners but now would prefer to call ourselves your friends. Congratulations!
