When we met Angelica and Jason about a year before their October 2015 wedding, it was pretty clear that Angelica had a distinct vision for her wedding day. She was looking for a very elegant affair, with lots of florals and a floral backdrop (ie. wall of flowers) for their ceremony. And she got exactly what she had hoped for!
They chose the Liberty Grand Entertainment complex in downtown Toronto on the Exhibition grounds for their wedding, both for the ceremony and the reception. This Beaux-Arts heritage building was built in 1926 and has a rich history of use for the Ontario Government during the Canadian National Exhibition.
Angelica and Jason decided upon the Artifacts Room for their wedding (there are several rooms in the complex), which is the room with the most “blank canvas” feel, allowing them to decorate just they way they wanted!
Here is the gorgeous ceremony space (during setup – the drapes would be fully closed when guests were arriving):

Following the ceremony, the guests were treated to cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the lobby while the room was being “flipped” for the reception. Decor was no less elegant.

Candlelighting everywhere!
It’s showtime!
Some of the incredible florals:
Long, low and lush florals on the rectangular tables:

And the simple but elegant (and delicious!) cake:

And the party was on!
A regal and grand affair and we are so thrilled that we were able to be a part of this incredible day! Thank you and congratulations, Angelica & Jason!
