On a bright November day, Joanne and Mike exchanged vows at one of the most interesting of Toronto venues – the Ontario Science Centre. Yes, you really can get married at the Science Centre and it is incredible!
Normally a science museum tucked into the Don Valley Parkland in the heart of Don Mills, but there are numerous interesting rooms and spaces within the venue where events can be held.
Joanne and Mike chose to have their Jewish ceremony in the RPS Hall under the custom chuppah.
The wedding colours were silver and black, complete with a black aisle runner.
Following that, the guests moved into the adjacent Hot Zone for the cocktail hour. The Hot Zone is actually the hub to various Exhibit Halls and a key area for guests to the Science Centre.
When it was time for the party to start, we moved upstairs to the main level for the reception in the Proctor & Gamble Great Hall. What a fantastic and interesting space!
The cake was so incredible, with the words to the couple’s first dance written around the tiers and a custom cake topper that represents the couple and their dogs!
We’ve always wanted to be a part of a wedding at the Ontario Science Centre and we got our wish! Thanks Joanne and Mike for giving us this opportunity and Mazel Tov!
