Next-to-last on our Cancun site visit day for the Love Mexico Destination Weddings conference was the Beach Palace hotel.
This is one of the Palace Resorts chain, along with Moon Palace, Sun Palace and others. You have exchange privileges with the other Palace properties but there are some restrictions to be aware of.
This is located about 25 minutes from the Cancun airport, on a beautiful stretch of white sand beach. It is a family-friendly resort so it is an option for wedding groups where there will be children.

What a standard room looks like:
Assorted views of the pool area and the beach:
The main buffet restaurant of the hotel, overlooking the pools and beach:
The Sports Bar:
Of course there is a spa, which I’m told is awesome, but it was busy with guests inside so we were unable to go in for a tour.
Up on the rooftop is their VIP area with its own small pool and awesome views:
This rooftop is often used for cocktail receptions in this space shown below:

And one floor up on this rooftop is a perfect place to hold a private wedding ceremony. The Beach Palace were kind enough to set up a ceremony from one of their wedding collection offerings. This one is the Lavender one:
And for an indoor wedding reception, the ballroom can be easily partitioned into many smaller sections depending on your needs.
Palace Resorts offer great value on their wedding packages and offer a $1500 resort credit for you and all your guests. You can use some if not all of this resort credit towards your wedding package.
The only complaint that I would have about this resort is that it is packed in tightly between two other resorts on either side. So while Cancun is not really where a traveler might go for privacy (more the shopping and nightlife), it did feel a little more squeezed in there than most. But other than that the hotel itself is very nice. One to consider!
