Next on our whirlwind Love Mexico tour of Cancun hotels was Secrets The Vine, an AMResort property.
Secrets is a high end brand and The Vine refers to the fact that this hotel prides itself on its selection of wines. Sommeliers are available and wine tastings are frequent. Wine pairings with meals is a matter of pride. If you are a wine connoisseur, this is the resort for you!
It is a super elegant new property, with a AAA Four Diamond award.
It is ADULTS only with a world-class spa, gourmet dining, and luxury everywhere.
As you arrive, you head up the stairs:
The check in area:
Moving over to the gorgeous main lobby:
This hotel is only a few years old so everything is new and fresh and beautiful. 🙂 Continuing along the main lobby area towards the ocean:
The main lobby bar, called The Vine Bazaar:
The wall of wine at The Vine Bar just off the main lobby:
As you head out the back doors you have the main outdoor lounge area and your first rectangular pool:
Walking straight back you are taken across a long bridge where you can oversee the whole pool area. This bridge is a popular spot for wedding ceremonies later in the day when things have quietened down.
Looking back at the hotel from the far point of the bridge:
Overlooking the pool to the left off the bridge:
The Market Cafe is the buffet restaurant on property.
Just adjacent is one of the bars:
Then we got to see what a typical room would look like:
And up we went to the VIP area and upgraded rooms. As you get off the elevators, the VIPs have their own area for check in and check outs:
Rooms are luxurious with a whirlpool tub and stunning views of the Cancun strip:
That would be the Hard Rock Cancun right next door:
Then off we go to see the Gym and its separate spinning room:
The spa was out of this world! A true piece of heaven for the bride and her entourage (or groom) to relax!
The view from the gym to the resort below:
Finally up even higher to the outdoor VIP area with their own loungers and pool as well as the rooftop Olio Restaurant with their Mexican cuisine.
This is also a very popular area for wedding ceremonies, under one of these gazebos, as it is a bit more private up here:
Walking past the Italian Restaurant, Nebbolio:
Some of the premium alcohol at this resort:
At the end of our tour we were shown some of the indoor wedding facilities such as the ballrooms and smaller meeting rooms which can be decorated any way the couple wishes. These are just bare landscapes upon which to build:
The main ballroom was massive and I would think could hold 350 people:
One of the smaller function rooms for a small ceremony perhaps?
And so concluded our tour.
Secrets the Vine Cancun was a beautiful, refined resort and would be an excellent choice for a destination wedding or honeymoon!
