Our second wedding of the September long weekend was the nuptials of Melinda and Manjit. Being of mixed backgrounds, there were two wedding ceremonies planned followed by the reception at the Royal Ambassador in Caledon.
We had an early morning start with the Sikh ceremony, held at a Brampton gurdwara. Guests were treated to a luncheon after the ceremony in the community hall.
Here is our gorgeous bride (next three photos courtesy of Elements Photography, www.elementsphotography.ca):
Between the two ceremonies was photography and planned family events as well as a dress change for the bride.
And for a quick attire change before the Western ceremony:
(And now for my not-so-professional photos!)
The Western ceremony took place later in the afternoon overlooking the lake:
Waiting for the ceremony to begin? No worries! Take a drink from the refreshment table…
Then into the main ballroom for the evening’s celebrations!
Some of the decor for the reception, featuring magenta dahlias:
The wedding cake in front of the sweetheart table:
And the oh-so-cute bride and groom cake pop favours!
The party went on well into the night with Bhangra dancers and fantastic music.
Best wishes for a wonderful life together Melinda & Manjit!
