This is another one of the weddings we’ve been waiting for all year! And it finally arrived!
We met Ana and Sonam over a year ago for the first time when they were looking for a wedding planner to help them create a classic and elegant wedding without breaking the bank. They wanted something they could be proud of and that would leave a lasting impression on all who attended. Well, they certainly achieved all that!
Our search for the perfect venue began with an attempt at having both the ceremony and the reception in one place. But when Ana and Sonam had the option of having their wedding ceremony at Casa Loma and then the reception at One King West Hotel… it seemed like the perfect mix of wow! and chic!
Casa Loma is the perfect backdrop for a wedding ceremony. The Conservatory in the castle is big and bright and beautifully decorated. The stained glass dome is magnificent! And the grounds are no slouch either!
The bride’s Philipino Catholic heritage was honoured during the ceremony as was her late mother. The groom’s side showed up decked out in traditional Tibetan garb, not to be outdone! Various traditions were showcased in their very personal ceremony.
Then after photos on the Casa Loma grounds (how can you find better in Toronto?), it was off to the historic One King West for cocktails, dinner and dancing till the wee hours. Incredible architecture in at One King West made for an amazing backdrop and made its statement for sure on the whole affair.
Check out some of the stunning photos. Now it’s hard to not have stunning photos when you have a gorgeous couple like Ana and Sonam, these great venues and the photography talents of Angela Li at Ten Over Six Photography! Many thanks to Angela for sharing some of her photos of the day with us and allowing us to post them here.
Congratulations Ana and Sonam!
