One of the weddings we had been waiting for was the union of Diana and Tommy.
Both were of Macedonian heritage, which was a first for us. So we had a great time learning more about the wedding traditions of this culture (pig dance, anyone?)
We were hired to provide Full Wedding Planning and met this awesome couple only around Christmas, which didn’t leave a lot of time for an end of May wedding. And on top of that, Diana lives in Chicago and was only available for a few days every few months to meet with vendors. So it was a bit of a challenge but fortunately they knew what they wanted and made decisions easily. And it all gone done!
It was a beautiful wedding but sadly, Mother Nature had other plans… it poured rain all day. Like ALL DAY. But Diana and Tommy had a fantastic attitude and were just happy to finally be husband and wife.
Here are some photos from their Big Day!
The group photo on the steps of the church (while we got only drizzle):
Then it was off to Spirale Banquet Hall for the reception. The theme was vintage elegance featuring gold with romantic ivories, blush pinks….
There were three different types of centerpieces and on the tables was a gorgeous coral ribbon rosette linen:
The room looked awesome:
With a gorgeous head table for 24!
A full antipasto bar started the evening off right:
And let’s not forget the stunning wedding cake:
Favour boxes filled with chocolate were at each place setting. Yum!
It was eating, singing dancing all night. What a great time had by all!
Much love to you both!
