We are so thrilled to have been the planners for the Rolling Out the Red Carpet evening for National Bank Correspondent Network (NBCN).
After quite the search to find our venue, we selected the Design Exchange in downtown Toronto. It was truly the perfect location, especially with its history as the former Toronto Stock Exchange. With 40′ high ceilings, it was ready to impress!
There was a Hollywood Glamour/ Red Carpet theme to the evening and with National Bank’s corporate colour being red, we just had to do something red and black!
We found these incredible red velveteen tablecloths with black script running through them that just oozed “chic”. We topped each table with a tall black ostrich feather centerpiece that really stole the show with height and drama!
Then we added some extra red rose arrangements to the various cocktail tables dispersed throughout the room, covered in a black satin linen:
And what would a Hollywood affair be without a red carpet, stanchions and the golden guy himself?
The room as a whole was spectacular:
Here we are just before people started arriving…. taking a moment to compose ourselves after the set up…..
The guests arrived and after a few very brief announcements were ready to party!
Food stations were set up throughout the room. Guests enjoyed an Italian Pasta Bar, a Steak Carvery, a Taco bar, an Asian Noodle bar and let’s not forget the really popular Mac & Cheese Bar (they were lining up for the lobster mac & cheese!). The food just kept on coming and the guests dined like kings and queens!
There was also a games room set up, with a giant chess set, electronic basketball throw, air hockey table and more!
This crowd loved to dance and kept it going until the party ended in the wee hours (we’re sorry for those people who still had to work the next day)! And we couldn’t help but get in on the dancing action too! The music (thanks Brent!) was just too good to be sitting down!
Here we are (shown here accompanied by a party reveller) after the party was full on!
