Forever popular, a tabletop manzanita tree can be used as a prop to hang notes and wishes from guests.
Often these can be found at places like Homesense or Michaels but just look online for suppliers. They come in a variety of colours and can even be spraypainted according to your theme.
For extra visual interest you can jazz up the tree with some crystals or other ornaments, so long as you leave enough room for the guest cards too! Those should be pre-punched with a hole and have some ribbon on it for easy hanging.
