August 16th was the big day for Jenn and Piotr who we have been working with for the past year to put together their perfect wedding. A busy professional couple, they needed us to help them with all aspects of the planing though they certainly knew exactly what they were looking for!
The theme was Lovebirds and the colour scheme was peacock blue. They carefully selected their venue, which was the Paradise Banquet Hall in Vaughan with its gorgeous domed ceilings and other beautiful architectural details.
While they had hoped for an outdoor ceremony, Mother Nature wasn’t obliging and it had to be moved indoors. Nonetheless it was still a picture perfect setup.
And of course, the kiss did not disappoint as Piotr literally picked Jenn up off her feet with that one!
Fortunately the rain of the day did stop just in time for the guests and bridal party to move outside to conclude the ceremony with the spectacular release of 12 doves:
And then back to the festivities in the hall! The receiving area was ready to go:
The couple wanted to do something different for their guestbook so chose to do a thumbprint collage (the chocolate shots nearby certainly helped the creativity!)
As guests made it into the hall they were greeted with a mouthwatering antipasto buffet:
And were duly impressed with the stunning decor:
They had a lovebird themed cake featuring a cute little couple on top:
At the end of the day everyone was super happy and the rain didn’t seem to have had any impact on the joy of the day. We loved working with you Piotr and Jenn! All the best in your new life together!
